Our story
The Body Shop People Send Their Friends To
Peter Auto Body is a small shop on North 10th Street in San Jose, and most of our work arrives the same way: someone tells a friend where to go. Twenty-eight Google reviews, every one of them five stars, is not a marketing campaign. It is what happens when the person doing the repair is the person you talk to.
We handle collision damage the way we would want it handled: look at the car honestly, quote what it should cost, and call before anything changes. If a panel turns out to need replacing instead of repairing, you get a text with photos and the decision stays yours. Customers regularly tell us we came in under what a dealership quoted, and that we did not sit on their car to run up the bill.
Cars leave finished: repaired, repainted, blended, and washed. That last part is not required. We do it anyway.
